Returns in both developed and
emerging international
regions, except Japan, were
universally positive in the
third quarter as investors
returned to equity markets in
response to widespread
monetary stimulus. However,
there was a selloff in the
international markets in last
few trading days of September
as fears over the euro zone
sovereign debt crisis
escalated again.
