Portfolio Update
Quarterly Update

Japanese stock selection and the underweight to Japan contributed the most to relative performance in the third quarter of 2012, while holdings in Asia Pacific ex- Japan detracted the most. Holdings in the consumer discretionary and information technology sectors contributed the most to relative performance, while holdings in the industrials and materials sectors detracted the most. Returns in both developed and emerging international regions, except Japan, were universally positive in the third quarter as investors returned to equity markets in response to widespread monetary stimulus. However, there was a selloff in the international markets in last few trading days of September as fears over the euro zone sovereign debt crisis escalated again.
